A mother's unseen heart, finally on stage.

Saturday, November 21, 2026 ·
Black Box, The Proscenium, Rockwell, Makati

The 3 a.m. feedings. The 3 a.m. worries. The mental list that never ends. The dreams you put on hold. The way
you were mothered, and the way you’re trying your best to mother differently.

Almost no one asks you how you’re carrying it all.

The Mommy Monologues: Stories We Carry is the first original stage production from Mommy Mundo. It’s built from twenty years of real stories gathered from Filipino mothers across generations. Nothing is invented or softened. These are real stories, finally spoken out loud.

WHAT MAKES THIS NIGHT DIFFERENT

The show is built from real narrations, essays, memories, and research shared by real mothers. You won’t be watching characters. You’ll be hearing the stories of real mothers and daughters. Our hope is that you hear yourself in a line, a story and that you’ll finally feel seen, and know you’re not alone.

The stories reflect every mother’s journey:
The Life We Carry, the Load We Carry, the Pain We Carry, the Power We Carry, and the Light We Carry— from the first moment of becoming a mother to the legacy she leaves behind.

It’s more than a play.
Through monologues, music, video, movement, and moments of quiet reflection, you’ll laugh, cry, and heal—feeling more connected than when you walked in.

It’s intimate by design.
The Black Box puts you close to every voice on stage, and seats are limited. This isn’t a show you watch from a distance. It’s one you feel.

It’s the start of something global.
Manila is the world premiere. From here, The Mommy Monologues will travel all over the globe spreading a connecting, understanding and healing experience that exists through the shared experience of motherhood and mothering. You’ll be in the room where it all began.

WHO IT'S FOR

Moms at every stage of the journey.

Daughters and sons who want to understand the women who raised them.

Dads and partners who want to see what she carries so they can carry it with her.

Anyone who was ever mothered, which is all of us.

Bring your mother. Bring your daughter. Bring your barkada of moms. Like all stories worth the telling, these are best heard together, heart to heart.

WHY YOUR TICKET MATTERS

This is a passion project, built by a community, for a community. Every ticket helps bring these stories to the stage and keeps the conversations going.

That means healing between generations, more compassion at home, and a world that finally asks mothers, “How are you, really?” Part of the proceeds of this event will fund the Momshare wellbeing programs of Mommy Mundo, committed to reach 10,000 less privileged moms all over the Philippines.
